37-year-old professional David Benyamine has taken down the PartyPoker Premier League IV title at the M Resort in Las Vegas. Benyamine, a French poker legend and a resident of Las Vegas, overcame a final table that also included Daniel Negreanu, Phil Laak, Roland De Wolfe, Luke ‘FullFlush’ Schwartz and PartyPoker online qualifier Giovanni Safina, a 44-year-old lawyer from Palermo, Italy, who qualified through an online satellite for just 100 euros. The total prize pool was $1.5 million, with $300,000 added by PartyPoker.

Las Vegas legend Danny Gans (52), main attraction at the Encore hotel in Las Vegas, was found dead in his home in Henderson, Nevada on April 30th. Cause of death is still undetermined.
